Tri-Lakes Chapel

Dear Friends,

As we all look forward to Labor Day weekend and the last opportunities for summer recreation, here at Tri-Lakes Chapel we always face a challenge. While it is our desire to provide high quality ministries for all ages every time we meet, there are some holiday weekends that we just cannot secure enough volunteers to make it happen. This Sunday, August 31 is one of those days.

We regret that we will not be able to offer Adventure Quest and Student Ministry classes this weekend. We have consolidated all available volunteers to staff Tiny Town, so our little ones will go to their usual learning environments. Older children and students will be welcomed into our two worship services at 9:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.

Please check with the leaders of your Adult Connections Class to find out if they are meeting this Sunday. Some are relatively unaffected by children's ministry, and may be planning to continue as usual.

Please know that we never make a decision like this without first making every effort to provide a quality experience for our children. We value and appreciate all who give so unselfishly of their time and talents to lead those ministries, so in no way do we ever begrudge someone the chance for a family outing.

If you are in town on Sunday, we look forward to seeing you for a great day of worship!

A little bit about Tri-Lakes Chapel...
Tri-Lakes Chapel is not your ordinary church. We're a collection of imperfect people from diverse backgrounds. Some have had a faith relationship with God for most of their lives; others are still trying to figure out if God is trustworthy. This band of believers includes little kids and teenagers, new parents and grandparents, retired military, rocket scientists and old hippies.
